About the Author

I'm Stevie Jo, and I want to take this opportunity to thank you for checking out my site and my book series, Angel of Death. It is my brain-child; my baby; a world with which I am obsessed and think about constantly. It took me ten years to really perfect the basic concept of Murr County and its inhabitants. I drafted more failed versions than successful ones, but those failures, ultimately, led me to the unique world that you get to read and enjoy!

If you can relate to the blurring of the line, or if you just enjoy learning behind-the-scenes info, I encourage you to subscribe to my newsletter and follow me on social media via the icons at the top of the page. It's a great way to learn a little more about the Angel of Death series and my thought processes behind it. If you enjoy reading Nora Roberts' more fantasy-driven works or those of Laurell K. Hamilton, my series is right up your alley! If you're a fan of the show, "Supernatural," this is also a book series you would enjoy reading!

So, who am I, really? Well, I'm a book lover, of course. I have a personal library with 600+ books. Most of them are unread, but I'm chugging along! Middle-earth is my top fandom of choice, but "Futurama" and Jurassic Park are also pivotal links in the DNA that makes me who I am.

I love to cosplay and exhibit at various cons, and I have been a panelist as well, discussing topics such as "Writing Romance 101" and "Building Your Author Website." So, if you like to travel and attend comic conventions, come to Kentucky to see me. I post regular updates about the cons I'm attending throughout the year. In fact, you can click right here to go to my calendar to see some of the important dates on my schedule.

Recently, I have begun publishing-related certification courses and launched my own indie publishing house! It's called The Composition of Imagination, and it is my goal to be a one-stop shop, not just for myself, but for other indie authors who have struggled to get their names out there. It will be a bit of a process as I learn how to shift my brand to more of a business before I can take on clients of my own, but I am thrilled at the prospect of improving myself and my writing as well as thrusting my brand into the publishing world in new and creative ways.

Enjoy my work, and as J.R.R. Tolkien said, "A single dream is more powerful than a thousand realities." I'm glad to share mine with you.
