Discover the Voices Behind the AOD Series

Skyelar; Elias; Kordelia; James.

You've read their names multiple times--countless, hopefully. You've drawn a solidly thick line between your favorite and least favorite characters. Anyone Team Aezra? No? Maybe? How about Hope? Or Eveylynne?

What about Elias? And what about the choices he's made and the effect its had on Skyelar? The same questions could be asked about each character you encounter in the world of AOD - that's Angel of Death for those of you who may be new here. If that's you, welcome and enjoy the Hell out of the ride!

Who are the characters of AOD?

That's what this blog is going to reveal, one entry at a time. There was a brief run, at a con, once where I printed some short pamphlets. I gave them away for free to encourage people to give me a chance instead of walking by. I really enjoyed them and I think the readers who were lucky enough to get them did, too. So it got me thinking...how can I get more of those samples of the AOD books into the reader's hands?

Then, Wix suggested trying the blog again, and I thought, "Why not?"

This time around, the blogs are going to be told first-person from one character in the AOD series. It may be a Mortal or it could be an Angel from one of the other Realms. By the time entries are exhausted, you will have a complete picture of what happened to cause the events in AOD to come to pass in the first place.

But I'm not going to give it all to you in sequential order. That would be too easy! Instead, I'm going to give it to you in piece-mail. Every entry will be a different character than the entry before and it will be a different date in AOD time, where possible. That was the goal with the pamphlets I gave away, so I would like to continue that trend with this blog.

For those of you who did not get one of those rare pamphlets, don't worry! I will start with Issue 1.

Thanks to my readers!

I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank all my readers. I have been pretty radio silent as far as events and social media and such goes. I have no shame in saying that I needed to take some time to heal myself and care for my mental health. I won't go into detail about it because I prefer to keep my private life private. But I don't want to end this blog without taking a second to remind everyone how important it is to care for your mental health. There is no shame in feeling how you feel and seeking help from a therapist when you get overwhelmed. Chances are you'll find you're not alone in how you feel about certain things, and there's comfort in that.

Just know that I appreciate all of you who have given me the chance to be part of your personal library! Keep spreading the good word about AOD and I'll update you again with the next event/book release. Until then, enjoy the debut of the "Pieces of Me" blog series in the next entry!

With all these new things expanding the AOD brand and bringing the series to a whole new group of readers, I thought it only appropriate...
